WHY?
Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare is a non-profit organization helping our homeless community in Middle Tennessee face the daily challenges of living in poverty with their pets. In addition, our pet services help those who are housed but living at or below the poverty level.
Count the balls that are missing from out on the green. Thanks to SAFPAW that number is 517! Each year SAFPAW fixes more than 300 cats. More than 300 cats! Well, not only that, there are also some dogs who need repairing. (We fix 300 dogs! Thanks to what you've been sharing.)
We fund our Spay & Neuter Program through grants but we need operating costs for pet transports, emergency vet care, homeless outreach, and Perian's Place—our transitional recovery house for women.
